I love this phone. My parents owned it and one day dad was cleaning out the garage and there is was. He changed the connection so I could plug it in and I made a cross stitch for the center of the dial. It's ring is loud and strong and it works when there is no electricity. I took these photos with my iPhone.

Apricots are my favorite fruit. I love the texture, taste and color. Against a crushed velvet background and natural light their beauty radiates.

The leaf is interesting with its folds and colors that look like marbleized paper. It adds a contrast to the apricots.

Contrasted with black velvet and sunlight that flows over and thru the leaf becomes alive with color and motion.

Opalised ammonite fossils glow with the colors within. Others show their ancient beauty thru pattern and color.

Shadows of a Spider's Web, Comfort, Texas

I grew up in San Diego, California. We have Black Spiders there. Beautiful shiny black with a bright red spot on their belly. Dangerous. So as kids we were taught to look out for them and to recognize their webs (stronger the other webs). Especially under patio chairs. You didn't sit without check under the chair. That's what the shadow of this metal chair reminded me of. Loved the pattern it made too.

These pears are really delicious and quite pretty. I liked how they looked with the stones collected from the vineyard under window light.

When we were living in Finger Lakes, New York in the Summer and Fall of 2019 we had dinner at this adult game restaurant. It had been a factory of some sort before converted. I found this wall of retro radios fascinating.

Over the years I have collected shells that were given to me as gifts. While living in Costa Rica I had the opportunity to work beside some interesting people on the far North Pacific coast of Puntarenas. I became friends with one gentle man who took me around in his dug-out canoe thru the Mangrove forest. We spent a lot of time talking and learning from each other. He gave me this shell.
