Sunrise over Tulsa, Oklahoma

During the summer of 2019 my husband and I took two road trips. One to Hill Country, Texas and the other to Finger Lakes, New York. It was an interesting time. My dad is from Oklahoma, I'd never been there nor did dad talk much about his life there. Tulsa is an interesting city with a sad history of the destruction of the Black Wall Street. It is also a city looking to its future and the home of Woody Guthrie's museum.

After finishing my pilgrimage across Northern Spain my husband and I spent several days in Santiago before heading out for a month visiting different areas of Spain. I like how these statues are silhouetted against the sky.

Sunset over Torrey Pines, California

I grew up in San Diego and many times I would plan a photo shoot at the beach for the sunset and each time it was overcast. No matter how beautiful the day had been, the clouds came in at sunset. Only when I didn't have my camera did the sunset beautifully. So on a visit to San Diego after a day of hiking along the cliffs in Torrey Pines there is was a beautiful, clear sunset along the beach.
